KAYLEIGH N

Kayleigh N was launched in September 2018 and is the third vessel Q-West have built for this client and the second designed by Teknicraft Design.

The vessel will be used primarily for cray fishing in Kaikoura, New Zealand

TE HAA

Te Haa is a purpose built Camarc pilot launch, built by Q-West to the same Lloyd’s standards as Mikotahi although not “in Class”.

Completed in 2017 for CentrePort Wellington, Te Haa is the second vessel Q-West have built for this client and the second jet powered self-righting Camarc pilot vessel constructed on site.

Te Haa is an outstanding craft with excellent performance, including a noise value of 67dB(A) within the wheelhouse at operating speed.

TEN SEVENTY

This is the second vessel built by Q-West for Seascan and the seventh this client, Q-West and Teknicraft Design have constructed together.

WAKATERE

Wakatere was built for Ports of Auckland Limited in 2015.  The vessel was designed by Teknicraft Design Ltd.

This is the first pilot boat built from Teknicrafts foil assisted catamaran design at Q-West and the first vessel built for this client.

LION FOUNDATION RESCUE

LION Foundation Rescue is a 15.15m search and rescue catamaran built by Q-West Boat Builders in 2014 for Auckland Coastguard Incorporated.  

The main function of the vessel is martime search and rescue, however it will also be used for the following:

  • Assist and/or tow damaged or disabled vessels
  • Transport of sick and injured persons
  • Support of aerial operations
  • Promotion of boating safety
  • Surveillance operations
